I like poetry.

There�s safety in words with the right bit of work:
Just look at me write... I�m really no jerk.

Numbers are nice, and I�ll take hugs in a pinch,
But first give me poems... I�ve never been lynched

For a poem I�ve written, no matter how bad...
And poetry�s one thing that everyone�s glad

To read and forget without looking back.

I�ve finished my words, and whatever they lack

In substance and style � Now listen my friend �
I at least can be certain they did not offend.
