He is happy because his expensive new knee brace arrived today, and -- wonder of wonders -- it works!

(For those of you who are unaware of the specifics, Unequivocal has dislocated his right knee several times, and it has never fully recovered. It has been quite awhile since it popped out, but he is perpetually plagued by an irritating and worrisome sensation in the knee that can best be described as a "looseness" or "wobble.")

With this new knee brace, the afore-mentioned wobble is entirely gone. Unequivocal is pleased.

There is of course, a down side. Wearing the knee brace is roughly equivalent to wrapping one's knee in Saran Wrap and then tying tightly wrapped bungee cords across the area. It is a little irritating.
