Nice. And fast.

What I was getting ready to say in the event of Astralounge stumbling about in confusion and totally not catching on to the subtle way that the matriarchy has blinded and mentally enslaved her was this:

But I have to wonder about certain things, such as... if people are drawn to a business by the money, are they truly consenting to do the work? Or does this point to a flaw in capitalism that one of the best ways for people with limited options to make money is through work that is both unpleasant and degrading? Is the money enough of a coercion that the work is not actually consensual?

In short, if you are only doing something because you are being paid to do it, are you in fact doing it willingly?

Let me rephrase that question in a way that provides some insight into my opinion on the matter:

If your job sucks, does the fact that your employer is offering you money mean that you are being oppressed and or coerced?

So. I'll take my bow and beat a graceful retreat now. It's a shame that the rest of you worthless, cretinous feminists aren't as quick on the uptake as Blaise. You might accomplish something.
