Discovering that someone new is reading unequivocal always fills me with a dim sort of performance anxiety.

When that happens, I usually just take a deep breath and remind myself that I'm a goddamn genius, and I don't have anything to worry about.

Unfortunately, deep breaths are, at the moment, verboten to me, due to the bronchial shoggoth that I am currently serving as host for. If I breathe too deeply, I'm liable to start coughing vigorously. If I do anything vigorously (coughing included), I am left feeling weak, shaky and ready to pass out.
